Australia’s Ultimate Flying Adventure
Have you ever dreamed of visiting Australia? Do you love to fly? Well, keep reading, because we can show you Australia like no one else can…from the left seat…in the air, as the “Pilot in Command”. Passengers are welcome, of course.
Flyabout, an Australian Adventure Flyabout is an intimate, personal story about a pilot‘s journey around Australia. It is the story of a young woman growing into an adult and coming to grips with how generational roles change over time.
Join us flying our Australian air tours which offer some of the best VFR conditions on Earth. You’ll fly one of our fleet of Cessna’s over places like Uluru (Ayers Rock) in the brilliant Red Centre, the Great Barrier Reef, and Tropical Rainforests, the Snowy River Country and Sydney at an incredibly low altitude. Visit a live rocket range and a Deep Space Observatory. Experience what a working opal mine is like and sleep in the world’s only international underground 5-star hotel. Feed Kangaroos and cuddle a Koala, but don’t call him a bear or he may get upset. If you’re brave enough, have an up close crocodile experience, not quite like the late, incomparable Crocodile Hunter, but as near as you’d want to get.
Your adventure starts in the beautiful international city of Sydney, where you can walk along Darling Harbour, visit the Opera house, or climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge if you're feeling adventurous. Proximity to World class shopping and perfect weather makes Sydney an ideal starting point for your flying vacation.
After meeting our friendly staff and getting checked out in your Cessna aircraft, it’s off on what promises to be the ultimate flying adventure. Depending on the tour you choose, you’ll head:
North: To the tropics of Northern Queensland, via Australia Zoo, fly over the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, relax on the beaches of the Whitsunday Islands
South: To the spectacular southern coast with a fly by over Sydney, an African animal adventure park, whales, a 36 ft long banana, the Twelve Apostles, Barossa wineries
West: To the rugged Australia Outback, opal mines, kangaroos, inland waterways, a 36 ft Murray cod, crocodiles, horizontal waterfalls, a million acre cattle station
It’s all waiting for you. What are you waiting for?
